1) Issues with /upgrade not allowing any guild to update - With the v4.0 release around a hour ago, we saw a issue that guilds couldn't be updated. We found out that no guilds could be updated as no guild database had the requirements it needed for the new upgrade system. However, we have sorted that out by manually adding the new feature to all database. But, this patch is about us fixing the issue. We now seeing if Second Server is disabled or not found. If not found, it will update. In v4.0, if you had no second server, it will not update.

3.2.1 - 22-05-04

v3.2.1 is now out! This update will not require a bot update. All servers will not be required to use /upgrade for this update unless you haven't updated your server to v3.2 yet. Below are the patch notes for this update.

1) When running /setup for the first time in a server, ModMail wouldn't get installed. This is now fixed (Read at the bottom on how to fix this in your server).

2) /ticket wouldn't work if you didn't have ModMail on your server. This is now fixed (Caused by the first bug fix).

3) /ticketreply would only reply to the first ModMail ticket in your guild. This is now been fixed.

4) With a good suggestion from one of the team, we have now changed /ticketreply <message> and /claim 4F7q2vtnC9132fawOeu6 to /ticketreply message: and /claim ticketid:4F7q2vtnC9132fawOeu6. We have done this, it would make it quicker for you to do the tickets and reply instead of you using TAB to find the right section.

If you were one of the servers who had the issue with ModMail not being added to your server. Please do the following below. Please type /fix category:Mod Mail issue (v3.2 update issue) to resolve the issue.

This patch was only a bug-fix patch. All changes above are what we found in v3.2. That is all from the team. If there are any bugs in this update, we will report them here. https://trello.com/b/eTcE4fWo/ticket-bot-bugs

3.2 - 22-05-02

v3.2 is now out! This update will require a bot update. All servers are required to now use the command /upgrade to update the bot version. Below are the patch notes for v3.2

1) Removed ALL support commands from the default commands section. You must now use Slash commands for support. We have done this because it will be easier for everyone to get used to.

2) ModMail is now in Ticket Bot! If you enable ModMail via settings, you will no longer have access to your ticket within the server. You will be needing to use the bot DMs to reply to your ticket. Furthermore, information is provided when you create a ModMail Ticket.

3) There is now a warning message for you when you try and use normal commands instead of slash commands.

4) Bugs fixes with the slash commands

  • Issues where you can't run any slash commands after inviting the bot.

  • Could open a ticket when you already had a ticket open within the server.

5) New system of updating has been introduced. When you tried updating the bot, it would only grab the current version of the bot. However, when this happens, you could not get all of the latest versions. As you can see below, this is the new system for saving your data when upgrading to a new version. Everything after || is for servers that don't have that information already stored for their server. Everything before || is that is already in the guild database.

We are sorry that this update did take a long time as expected. Due to my mental health and exams coming up, I had no time on working on the bot. Thank you for your wait on this version of the bot. I hope the above gives you good updates on the backend of the bot. That is all from the team. If there are any bugs in this update, we will report them here. https://trello.com/b/eTcE4fWo/ticket-bot-bugs

3.1.2 - 22-03-19

v3.1.2 is now out! This update will not require a bot update. All servers will not be required to use /upgrade for this update unless you haven't updated your server to v3.1 yet. Below are the patch notes for this update.

1) Fixed that you could bypass: blacklist, mute, disabled commands, and servers not being updated - Fixed now as we forgot to edit the slash command handler.

2) Added slash command /fix - This command can be used by the server owner to fix any database issues. This command just got released, so expect bugs

3) Fixed ticket command in slash commands.

4) Changed slash command help.

This patch was only a bug-fix patch. All changes above are what we found in v3.1 and v3.1.1. That is all from the team. If there are any bugs in this update, we will report them here. https://trello.com/b/eTcE4fWo/ticket-bot-bugs

Open source bot is expected to be updated to v3.0 soon

3.1.1 - 22-03-10

v3.1.1 is now out! This update will not require a bot update. All servers will not be required to use /upgrade for this update unless you haven't updated your server to v3.1 yet. Below are the patch notes for this update.

1) Fixed /setup not working - would cause the bot to crash because of an error code.

2) Fixed data not getting removed when removing the bot from the server - Attempted to fix it in v3.1. Fixed correctly in testing but not in public.

3) Fixed /close crashes the bot when timeout - Caused by an error in interaction.

4) Fixed welcome message not getting sent - When the bot joined the server before v3.0, it would give a welcome message and how to setup. From v3.0, it didn't.

5) Fixed /setup and !setup was stuck on v3.0 - We forgot to update the database with the new version.

6) Fixed when trying to invite the bot from discord app itself, it would not give you permission for slash commands.

This patch was only a bug fix patch. All changes above are what we found in v3.0 and v3.1. We also made changes to how the bot gets the bot version. Instead of the bot manually getting the bot version by every command, we stored the bot version in one json file, so it will be easier for us to update every command to the latest update. We also have seen some users not using the bot with slash commands permissions enabled. Please re-add the bot in the for slash commands. That is all from the team. If there are any bugs in this update, we will report them here. https://trello.com/b/eTcE4fWo/ticket-bot-bugs

2) Bugs fixes with ClaimTicket slash commands not allowing you to claim it.

3) Ban and Kick have now been fixed in this patch, allowing the commands to work as expected.

4) When we added bot version to the database on v2.1, people couldn't update their bot versions if they were behind updates behind. From this patch, if you are on v2.3.1e or below, you can now update the bot instead of removing and adding the bot again.

5) Bug fixes with the data not getting deleted when removed bot from your server.

If there are any bugs in this update, we will report them here. https://trello.com/b/eTcE4fWo/ticket-bot-bugs

2) Discord.js 12 to 13 - The bot has now been updated to the latest discord.js 13 packages. For this update, there has been a lot of backend changes. Due to this, some commands might not work.

3) Dashboard - We have released a dashboard with the v3.0 release. We released it a couple of weeks early but it still had major bugs with it. With v3.0 release, no bugs will be found.

4) API changes - we have made API changes to the bot. You can now find out more changes to the api under the API section in this doc.

5) Sharding is no longer a thing! We have removed the sharding system from v3.0 for now, until ticket bot has gotten over 100 servers.

As v3.0 just got released, we do expect some bugs within the first couple of days. We also have disabled the save of transcripts to the dashboard while we look into an issue with the new fs system. Apart from that, Enjoy this new update, we took time on this update for the best and I hope you will enjoy this update!

Not all of the support tickets have been upgraded to slash commands. We only started updating all commands last week. We updated the easiest commands that we did. All of the commands that have reactions on it is the hardest command to update. But we will release the rest of the commands to slash commands in v3.1.

2.3.1e - 21-12-24

v2.3.1e Is now out from today. This will not require a bot update. This was just an emergency update for the past live update (what happen at 00:00 UTC today)

1) Database is not created when running !setup - This is now fixed. It will also require you to sort out the settings yourself.

2) Tickets do not get created correctly if the discord server logo is the default one - This is now fixed by us removing the server icon from the embeds.

3) When closed a ticket and run !ticket again, it will give a database error - This has now been fixed. Issue was caused by some coding issues when closing the ticket.

4) Ticket Tracker not working correctly - This has now been fixed. This was caused by that the code for close was not grabbing the information from the database about how many tickets was open. Sometimes it would say 2 tickets was open but 1 was only open etc.
